Advanced Atelier Program

Aleksander Balos offers a comprehensive course of study designed to allow students to attain a high degree of ability in representational drawing and painting. For those interested, the course of study will replicate the atelier system of art instruction of the great European academic and impressionistic painting schools of the 18th and 19th centuries. In addition, the atelier program offers artist a venue to find, develop and express their own stylized way of drawing and painting.

Students focus on developing their perceptive, technical and conceptual faculties and cultivating skills in drawing, painting, and picture composition. The atelier is a place of collaborative learning, individualized instruction, and dedication to creating fine art with a high level of craftsmanship.

Admission is based on a personal interview and portfolio review. Students interested in applying for admission should contact Aleksander Balos directly. Click here for contact information. You can also check our blog here. Here is an invitation to an art showing of artists who are painters of the atelier.
